WEB / MANUAL LABS

Manual Web labs

Predict first, observe local behavior, then explain why.

Predict first, then observe.

Compare a lesson mechanism against your own record in a small local exercise.

  1. Choose a workbook

Read the request/session/policy, URL or browser exercise summary and open its workbook. Use its lesson table to identify the question the exercise makes concrete.

  2. Write your prediction and open the package

Fill in the workbook fields before seeing the result. Extract the ZIP from Download source package, then follow its Node command or open index.html in the browser package.

  3. Record and compare the observation

Record the request/response, URL field or browser order. Open HINTS when needed, then explain differences with SOLUTION and repeat using the exercise’s reset or fresh prediction step.

You can explain the difference between prediction and observation through concrete fields. Three packages provide four workbooks, without requiring a GitHub account.

Three source packages, four workbooks. Pilot contains two workbooks; URL and Browser each contain one.

Request, session, and resource policy

Two workbooks follow actual loopback HTTP requests, cookie/store boundaries, and seeded permission decisions.
